All proprietary data is processed and stored with enterprise-grade security.
Designed, assembled and securely hosted in the European Union for full digital sovereignty.
The Dot Link Unit incorporates industry-standard analog and digital I/O interfaces for edge-level data acquisition and machine control. Connected directly to the Dot Link Cloud, all I/O channels support remote querying, configuration, and monitoring, facilitating centralised operational management of distributed machines.
Engineered for extreme operational environments, the Dot Link Unit features a rugged, IP67-rated enclosure.
When paired with watertight Deutsch® connectors, it supports seamless installation both within vehicle cabins and directly on exposed exterior machinery subjected to heavy moisture and ingress.
To simplify deployment and reduce overall hardware footprint, high-performance cellular and GNSS antennas are fully integrated inside the housing. The unit mounts securely onto any surface using just two bolts.
This compact, durable design ensures maximum hardware reliability, long-term asset protection, and rapid installation across demanding industrial fleet environments.
The Dot Link Unit incorporates industry-standard analogue and digital I/O interfaces for data acquisition and machine learning on the integrated NXP NPU.
Connected directly to the Dot Link Cloud, captured data can also be used for online machine learning models, either on the Dot Link Cloud or through the industry standard MCP API feature.
Equipped with a versatile 4G modem and an integrated SIM service managed by Dot Technology, the Dot Link Unit 24 delivers seamless EMEA connectivity. Through the Dot Link Portal, fleet managers gain complete visibility and control over data usage, bandwidth, and operational costs.
For precision positioning, the unit integrates a multi-constellation GNSS receiver supporting GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou, with optional high-resolution Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning. This combination of EMEA cellular coverage and sub-centimetre location accuracy makes the Dot Link Unit a reliable performer for distributed machinery and fleet operations.
The Dot Link Unit includes a robust development toolchain engineered for building embedded applications tailored to specific operational requirements. Developers can leverage a Low-Code environment powered by Simulink®, seamlessly integrated with an automated GitLab CI/CD pipeline to accelerate deployment cycles, enhance code quality, and automate hardware testing workflows.
Alternatively, for applications requiring maximum hardware performance or legacy code integration, custom firmware can be written natively in C. This dual development path combines rapid deployment flexibility with precise, low-level execution control, enabling efficient edge logic deployment across diverse industrial use cases.
To streamline application development, the Dot Link workflow offers two distinct deployment pipelines. For initial testing, developers can compile custom code into a Hex file and flash a reference Dot Link Unit directly. Once validated, production releases are pushed to the central Dot Link Portal. The portal provides complete operational oversight across your entire asset fleet. Enterprise administrators can schedule and deploy over-the-air (OTA) updates tailored to specific operational schedules. This controlled deployment strategy eliminates unnecessary machinery downtime while maintaining centralized governance, security, and remote control over every deployed unit.
Engineered to the highest security standards, the Dot Link Ecosystem provides end-to-end encryption for all data transmitted between Dot Link Units and the Dot Link Cloud. Built natively to align with European regulatory frameworks, including NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the platform safeguards proprietary data against unauthorised access and cyber threats. Cloud administration features granular, role-based access controls to precisely manage user permissions. Furthermore, all system interactions are continuously monitored and recorded in immutable audit logs, delivering complete transparency, traceability, and compliance accountability.
Every component across the proprietary Dot Link Ecosystem, encompassing both hardware and software architecture, is engineered by Netherlands-based company Dot Technology. To ensure uncompromised quality and European digital sovereignty, all hardware components are assembled locally in the Netherlands, while cloud infrastructure and compute workloads operate exclusively within sovereign European data centres.
The Dot Link Ecosystem serves as a universal hardware and data backbone for OEMs, software platforms, and deep-tech developers. By combining plug-and-play edge devices, EMEA connectivity, and CRA-ready security, it eliminates integration friction, accelerates time-to-market, and lets engineering teams focus on core product innovation.
Elevate vehicle and machinery capabilities with real-time telematics, advanced diagnostics, and accelerated R&D.
Seamlessly ingest edge data into software platforms via CRA-compliant hardware and REST APIs.
Accelerate deep-tech development with turnkey, CRA-ready edge hardware and data infrastructure.
